“I’m sorry. I can’t control myself sometimes.” He loosened his hands that were folded tightly on the table.

“What the hell is going on? Between you and Dave, you’re both going to kill me with your mood swings.” My eyes stared at him intensely waiting for a response.

“What are you my mother?” he asked annoyed, staring at me deeply with his eyes burning a hole through me.

“I just want to know why you hate Dave so much, and why you wanted to kill Nick last night,” I said angrily, placing down the chicken wrap and throwing my napkin on the table like a spoiled child.

“I don’t hate Dave. I. Don’t. Like. Him. And don’t include that fucking asshole, Nick, in our conversation. He’s nobody,” he said as he glared at me heatedly.

“This is jealousy. This “not liking” people is ruining our relationship.” My voice cracked as I tried to keep it together before falling apart.

“I…I can’t help the way I feel. I…I love you.” He placed his fork on his plate and lowered his head. “This is too much for me,” he whispered. My heart pounded against my chest. Oh my God! He said it! He said he loved me.

His eyes were glossy and now he seemed like the one who was going to fall apart.

“I love you Jenesis like I’ve never loved anyone before. You’re everything to me. I’m going to be 30 years old, and I’ve never felt like this for any woman. I have all of these weird emotions. This is really hard for me.” I grabbed his hand to comfort him and right then and there…I fell apart.

Light a Candle For the Beast

If you’ve ever been caught in a riptide, pulled down into the water, then you know me. Or, more accurately, what I’m like when I’m angry.

Delia was beautiful, smart, and kind. He wasn’t. He said he loved her, but he didn’t know what love was. He was manipulative and cruel—more than a thief. A beast.

All she wanted was a rose…

These are the words on my sister’s grave. Her sadness, her obsession, forever a reminder I didn’t–couldn’t save her.

I’m not vindictive or cruel. I’m simply as the river–my memory is winding and my reach is long. I watched him steal her beauty, her essence. Watched him become a beast. He thought he’d get away with it, thought he’d go free.

I lay a rose upon my sister’s grave.

Inside view of Romanceaholic

Why do you blog about books? Well to be honest I love to read and books are very big part of my life. Books save my life, whenever I need to escape I pick up a book and get lost in the worlds the authors create.

What is the purpose of your blog? My goal is to share and promote as many great authors as I can. I want to showcase their books. I want to give them a home where people can see the authors hard work.

What is something you want readers to know? I want readers to know that authors work hard to create their books and that its important to appreciate their hardwork. Its important to leave reviews and share your love for the book that made you feel and entertained you.

What is so special that you devote so much time to books? Well that is simple books are someones imagination and creative thoughts come together and create a wonderful world full of  mystery, love, adventure and fantasy. The author has the courage to share their stories with us and they don’t always get to hear what or how their books affected the reader so I wanted to give them a place to see their work and to share my love of books with everyone.

If you could tell the authors one thing what would you tell them? I would say Thank you because without your books I wouldn’t have survive many hard times in my life and Thank you because thanks to you and your books I have seen and felt your characters and their stories. Thank you because books fill me with joy.13275628_1012564492191373_255603054_n

The Forbidden Love Series

I almost broke my hand banging it against the wall. I heard every filthy word that motherfucker said to Maddie. He calls her Madison. Only our mother called her Madison. He has no right. I was trapped in this room listening to him shove his dick down Maddie’s virgin throat. Daniel and Alyssa were asleep, but if I kept banging on the wall, they were going to wake up. I had to control myself. It took everything I had in me to stay in here and not go out there and blow his fucking brains out.

“You’re turn baby.” I heard him say to her.

“I…I…” That’s all I heard her say.

“Madison, you’re a big girl now and your daddy wants all of you. Remember the rules. You can’t deny me. I don’t want to punish you today. It’s your birthday. So be a good girl and take off your clothes.” Jesus, I can’t take this shit. If he sticks his dick in her I’m going to go ballistic.

“Please…can’t we go to your apartment.” I heard her begging.

“Alright, baby girl, let’s go. Get your stuff. Call your babysitter to come and stay with those kids. I’ll be downstairs in the car waiting. I want another blowjob for the inconvenience. So get ready to suck on this hard beast, and when we get home, I’m going to fuck you so hard, your brother Stone is going to feel it.” He laughed like the devil himself and my insides churned. How could I let her walk out that door?

I heard the door close and I knew she’d locked the door behind her. I ran out of the room and grabbed her by the shoulders. She turned to me and began crying, covering her face with her hands. I grabbed her gently by the waist.

“Go rinse out your mouth, Maddie.” I couldn’t stand the smell of him on her lips. She walked into the bathroom and cried, gagged and brushed her teeth all at the same time.

She walked back into the bedroom with her blouse open showing her lace bra. The kids were still sleeping. I walked over to her, slowly, eyeing her up and down. Every fiber in my body awoke as I approached her. The love I had for her was beyond my control. I could feel myself getting aroused.  She gasped when I grabbed her by the back of her head gently and wrapped a fistful of her hair around my hand.

Stone Book 2 Saving Madison

“Stone?” she whispered. “Maddie. How are you feeling?” I asked with a lump in my throat. “It hurts…a lot.” She tapped her fingers lightly on her chest. “I’m sure it does.” She reached for my hand and squeezed it gently. “Maddie…I” “I know Stone…I know.” “No you don’t,” I leaned in and kissed her softly on her lips, “I love you, Maddie. I love you so much I’ve been lost without you.” “I love you, too,” she said smiling, “Alyssa? Daniel? Are they okay?” she struggled to speak, gasping for air in between words. “Yes…they’re fine.” “I…I was so afraid. I thought I would never see them again.” She cried. Her body trembled from the fear. Her eyes welled with tears as she tried to continue to speak. “Don’t talk Maddie. Everything is fine. We’re all going to be together again. You, me, Alyssa and Daniel.” I kissed her fingertips and she giggled. “What?” “I’ve always dreamed that one day you would kiss my hand and fingertips like that. You know, I saw it in the movies.” She smiled that trademark family smile that we all shared. Our eyes squinting as we smiled, and my heart melted for her. I leaned in and kissed her lips again, pushing my tongue gently into her mouth. She opened seamlessly. I belonged in her mouth. She belonged in mine. Our kiss was in sync, a rhythm that was passionate, yet so loving, and I could have died right there and be satisfied with just that one kiss. The door opened and our kiss ended abruptly. “Miss Stone?” a female doctor walked in. She looked quite uncomfortable as she noticed our lips broke from our kiss. “Yes?” Maddie whispered. “I’m Doctor Hollander.” She stared at me as she walked around the bed to the other side. “Hi, I’m Stone.” I reached out to shake her hand. “Pleasure. Stone are you related to Madison?” she smiled. “He’s my fiancé.” Madison interrupted. My heart dropped. What did she just say? Everyone knows she’s my sister. “Oh, well, congratulations. Let’s take a look at the surgical wound. You can stay, Stone.” “My sister is such a prankster! Madison, grow up and let the doctor check you. I’m going to check on Alyssa.” I glanced over at Maddie whose smile turned into a river of tears. God, I loved her so much, but the word fiancée was just too much. No one can know our love. They’ll take the kids from us. I gave her a nod and left the room with my heart and soul left behind. I had hurt her right now and that hurt me more than anything in this world.
