Introduce us to the main characters: Vicki is a bit of a spit fire. She’s independent and sure of her-self but we see her hit some weak spots along the way. Gavin is a confident gym owner and Dom, who volunteers as a local firefighter.
How do these two meet? Gavin owns the only gym in their little town and Vicki is a member. They’ve noticed each other before but have never spoken until a man slap Vicki’s rear and she punches him in the face.
How would you characterize their relationship in one word answers, start, middle and end? In the beginning I would say, unsure. Vicki doesn’t really want to engage with the handsome gym own but Gavin is sure he wants more from the feisty redhead. The middle, trusting! Vicki goes through a lot in a very short amount of time and each event that piles on her shoulders, Gavin is there to bare the weight with her. For the end I would say…Loving? Vicki has found freedom in trusting Gavin and that grows into a love like none either of them have known.
What three words would you use to describe this story? Thrilling, It’s a little be of a wonder to what will happen next. Sexy, again I like to have some hot scenes in all my books, I’ve been told more than one of my works is “Pantie melting”. And Exciting, I enjoyed finding out how Gavin would work around Vicki stressers and help her find a way to trust him.
How much real life do you put into or influences your books? There is a little, I think books are better written if the author is invested and knowledgeable about the subjects. I am a vanilla bean who dreams in chocolate cover sprinkles though.
What is the hardest part of writing for you? The hardest part for me is my body behaving long enough for me to get the words out. My brain is almost always ready to write, but I have PCOS. A hormone syndrome that cuases chronic migraines and stuff like that. I also have tennis elbow on both the right and the left so my finger movement gets limited sometimes.
What are your current projects? Eek! I have four! I’m working on a fourth book in the Wet Series, a book with a female Dom, which is something I’ve never done before, a book about a military man (this one is old and I don’t know if it will ever be finished. And another that I’m keeping a tight lip about for now… but its gonna be a lot of fun!
How do you go about choosing the title for your book(s)? Good question. Sometimes the titles are there in the manuscript just waiting for me to pluck them out and when they aren’t I ask my beta reader for ideas.
Which of your books is your favorite and why? Ohh, that so hard to choose. I love them all for different reasons. Yes, Sir because it was my first published. The Submission Series because the location reminded me a lot of my home town but I think it’d be safe to say that Sinner’s is my favorite. It was the hardest to write but Nathan Battle is my all time DREAM MAN! For me he is perfectly flawed!
What would you want to tell your readers? How much I honestly appreciate each page they turn, the time it takes them to leave a review or write me a quick note. All these things mean so, so much to me. I never thought my dream of being an author would come true and it’s my readers who are making it a reality!
